By filing a single PCT application, you can extend the time to enter member countries up to 30/31 months (some country have shorter and longer timelines as well) from the priority date depending on the country.

The PCT international filing service includes the following activities:

• Preparing the PCT application
• Filing the PCT application with World Intellectual Property Office (WIPO)
• Informing the client of the PCT application number and providing filing acknowledgements

To file a PCT international application, a complete specification needs to be filed along with the PCT international application. The time limit to file the PCT international application is 12 months from the priority date.

• International filing fee – USD 1,446 for companies. For individual applicants from India, the international filing fee may be reduced by up to 90%.
• International Search Authority fee – Varies depending on the search authority selected. For India as the ISA, the fee is INR 2,500 for individuals and INR 10,000 for others.
